My teammate left and got looped in irritating opportunity

My only teammate left from my team and decided to join new team, now all alone in my location with my nagging manager. While I was about to get over from the fact that my teammate has left my current team and joining new team for her career growth, I was looped to support for the most irritating opportunity in our entire team. The same old opportunity came back again which I was working with one of the most irritating delivery point of contact, but to my surprise he was not looped into the mails and I was shocked to know that, however I thought it was simple error made by the lead. Later on I found out that the guy or the most irritating delivery POC has left the company and joined new company, from one end and I was happy that I was I would no longer work have to work as hard as the delivery POC would force me to and on another end I was worried that how much work I would get now on this opportunity.
